I’m Nancy and I’m here to run the world. Literally. Two of my most favorite things in this world are running and travelling, so combining the two just comes naturally. I’m always training for races, so when I travel I have to stick to my schedule and find ways to fit my runs into my vacations. Hopefully I can inspire you to do the same.

I’m Nancy and this is my blog. I’m 29, a Nashville native, and I love to run and travel the world. I started running in 2014 because I was in a pretty low spot in my life. I was working my first job after college, I had put on some weight, and I was ultimately really depressed. On October 20, 2014,  I decided that was the day things would change. Almost exactly one year later on October 17, 2015, I was down almost 50 pounds and I completed my first half marathon. I didn’t know it, but my life would never be the same. Since then I have run 7 half marathons, 1 full marathon , and 1 Ragnar Relay race.

My sister-in-law, Jennifer, is my partner in crime. If you would have told us just a few years ago that we would be marathoners, I think we both would have thought you were insane. We now travel all over the country together running races and collecting medals. She is the one who pushes me and keeps me going on this crazy journey we started just a few short years ago. Eventually, we plan on running the Boston Marathon together.

I’m married to a wonderful husband, Adam. He supports all of my crazy adventures. We started dating as teenagers in 2005 and we got married in 2012. Our relationship has transformed over the years, but one thing has remained constant: our favorite thing to do together is travel the world. So far we have traveled to 7 countries as well as all over the United States.

I started this blog not only to share our travels, but also to share things we have learned, travel guides, and tips on how I keep up my health and fitness on the road. We love adventure, and we try to travel on a budget, but we don’t mind the occasional splurge. If you love traveling, adventure, running, or any combination of the three, I hope you will find this blog useful and inspiring.

I love when people get excited about traveling and running! I would love to answer any questions you may have, so please feel free to send me an email.
